Come on! It's fun! (Gimme a +1. I know it doesn't matter, but I mean... come on! It's me!)
+1 For mini then! lol

Oh, okay. I understand.

I'll just go ahead and submit my application so everyone can see what I could do. +1 for Wiltz. I concur with Mini, he's been a great moderator when he had the position.

+1 for Mini. Mini is very active, and I believe we need moderators like him to get things done whether it'd be in-game and/or through the forums.

My Application:

  1. Name: Thel' Vadam (aka Arbiter)

  2. Age: 15 (16 on June 7th)

  3. How long have you used these forums: Counting my activity in the BVG forums, about 4 months. More or less. To be honest, it feels so short.

  4. How many posts do you have: 77 (this would be my 78th).

  5. Have you ever broke rules: No. I have a clean record. (:

  6. Why do you think you deserve to become moderator: I haven't been as active as many of the others who I personally think deserve this position, but I believe I can contribute by handling repeated threads and necroposts and users who break important rules that should be followed. Even if these rules aren't posted, I would note that it's common knowledge to not do something like that (like posting pornographic pictures, flamebaiting, spamming).

Despite my low post count here on the forums, please take into consideration that I was here since January when BVG was up and active, although I didn't make my appearance until early February (I think).

I did make a thread 'A Discussion About PvP Combat, Game Mechanics, Guilds, Groups & More!' which has been stickied... TWICE.

And about my low post count again: I have made countless posts which have shown that my replies have quality. I believe it's the quality of the impact the user has left rather than the quantity, although in this case I think you should have a regular presence and a good amount of posts—both of which I believe I have.

  7. Give 3 important rules: Impersonating moderators, developers or high-ranking members of the community is not allowed. Creating multiple threads is not allowed, and if you're attempting to create a thread that's a trending topic, it's recommended you search through recent threads before publishing the hot-topic thread. Flaming other users and baiting others in order to instigate a flame-war is not allowed.

  8. Question: You see someone breaking rules for first time, what are you doing?

  9. Answer: I would notify the user via posting on his thread or via Private Message to let the user know which rule(s) he's breaking, and what he should and should not be doing so he doesn't receive further warnings. I'd continue by letting him know that multiple infractions on his account would lead to a suspension or all the way to a perma-ban, depending on how far he's gone with breaking the rules.

I would also take any other action that's necessary after notifying the user.

Nice to see, you like it, Thel. But BloodBrothers said, dev team will choose moderators, not community. I like my idea more.

I put my own application, just for fun.

My Application:

Name: Jony

Age: 14

How long have you used these forums: I was second member to join Sovereign, and I used BVG long time.

How many posts do you have: 709 (710, after this)

Have you ever broke rules: Well, me and couple of other guys "spammed" some smileys to Thel's thread. But other than that, no.

Why do you think you deserve to become moderator: I'm funny, I'm helpful, I make many good threads etc.

Give 3 important rules: Don't spam, respect other people, don't swear.

Question: You see someone breaking rules for first time, what are you doing?

Answer: I'll tell him to read rules, and if he does it again, I'll give him warning, and if he do it knowingly again, I'll ban him.

hmm an applicateable processing.
I'd like to assert as a Gwendolyn of all odds that there shall be no reasoning to dismantleship of the great white sourthern foresting through which one enters gargantuan fungus mutants that supernova referred to in of the scriptural texting. as a fact of this material one must not use the depolarization of plutonium isotope in battle as the field of infrared aluminosilicates gradually desynthesizing the eroded quadrants of the matricial of the great woods. perhaps there is an alternate solution, if one is willing to extrapolarize the cardiac solvent of chromium, only that shall be of sufficient aid to the nation.

I would love to help you find the "cardiac solvent of chromium", but I don't know what you're talking about. A way to make chromium dissolve hearts? If that's what you want...

Alright, I read the whole thing, and I'm glad I did.

+1 because I not only respect him for his kindness, politeness, and the amount of logic he puts out to his posts, but also because he made countries of Reach, and I would love to play that again some day.

And, another +1, because his birthday is one day after mine. Very Happy

It had 4 "one"s, and if you didn't understand.

You can give 1+s to many persons, but only one 1+ to one person.
