Halo 2 Vista Machinima

I was thinking about something to do, at the store, when an idea popped into my head. And this has became a Halo 2 Vista Machinima.

The requirements for this machinima are:
1. Halo 2 Vista
2. A computer that can run it
3. Must have me on your windows live friends list, as well as skype.
4. One of the body actors must have a controller plugged into the computer for walking.

Now, all I need is two body actors, so if you can meet these requirements, then by all means, please try out. The first tow who can register themselves for it can enter.

Okay, down below is a link to install Halo 2 Vista for those who do not have it. The link is below.

http://codehpro.com/

Unlike Halo CE, this link is legal. Somebody bought 300+ serial keys to make Halo 2 Vista work for multiple players who wanted it. You follow the instructions on the page carefully, and you should have a working Halo 2 Vista.

Well anyway, if you want, please help me out with this. I've hosted many servers on Halo 2 Vista, so nobody will have the connecting issue like they did in Halo CE.

I don't have a controller with a cord though... I've tried using the charger cord thing, but that doesn't work sadly.
Also, I usually don't have a computer that can run Halo 2 Vista on the weekends...

That said, I will gladly help, but I've still got the above issues.

Edit: I have an idea to get it to walk slowly, but can't test it until I get back onto my Halo 2 computer late tomorrow.

Does it give you any kind of error message?
Reinstalling will usually fix your problems.

Did you not save a back-up of of your maps?
That's kind of necessary if you use it.

Since you can't reinstall it for what ever reason, just go to the link Mini posted.

Edit: ...The picture is way to big for your signature.
Edit 2: And you just left for school...

Just delete your current Halo 2 Vista folder, download the one in the link up top, and use either your own serial key, or one that they gave you.

Come on. All you do is download the torrent, install the game, update the game, and retrieve your windows live account with a CD key. It'll only take about an hour or two, depending on your download speed.

They even made a video tutorial at some point.

Yeah, I wish they had made that before I did it. Would have made it easier on me.

Are you using bit torrent to download it? And then did you extract it using winrar. (I forgot whether it was in a rar file or not). If so, then just double click on the .exe and go click install Halo 2 Vista. (I believe, I do not exactly know my way around the H2V installer.)

Can't you uninstall gravemind?

Or back up your computer and reinstall windows.... Okay, that option is a bit ridiculous.

I uninstalled Gravemind, and yes, believe it or not, I restarted my whole Windows system....Nothing helped

Gravemind wouldn't cause this problem. It could make your game not start if it corrupts a map file though, but it couldn't have done anything else.

You really need to back things up before you mod them though.
You restarted your system? Did you reinstall the whole thing like Mini was saying, or did you just restart your computer.
If you haven't reinstalled it, I recommend you don't, as he said, that's a bit extreme.

What problem are you actually having? You put the disk in, run the startup, then what happens?
And when you uninstalled, did you actually uninstall, or just delete the Halo 2 folder?

It happened right after that. And yes, I did uninstall it. And I told you in skype O_o. I didn't really re-install Windows, but I kinda did. I did "Full System Restore" that basically removes, your computer things to like 2 months ago, it should've helped, but didn't. I will explain better version in future. lol

I sent you a possibly-helpful PM.

On the actual topic: Do any of the people who want to help actually have wired Xbox controllers? I don't, and Halo 2 doesn't seem to like customizing controls.

Edit: Jony, I still don't know what the error it's giving you is. Is there a message that pops up at all?

Yes, read your Skype messages, just saying.
