In future, when we will need moderators, we should do voting. If it's possible, please stick this thread.
In future we may have use for this. If game is released before we need moderators, I will edit this thread little bit. I mean if we have In-game Moderators & forum Moderators. Or "Dual Moderators".

You can give:

+1 (1 vote)
+0,5 (half vote)
+/- (Quarter of 100)
-1 (-1 vote)

Rules for voters:

1. If you're known troll, your vote doesn't count.
2. If you only have few posts, your vote doesn't count.
3. You must give reasons.

Rules for candidate:

1. Don't get angry if someone gives "-1 vote" for you.
2. Read why they wants you to become Moderator OR why they don't want you to become moderator.

TBh with the rest of the DEV team rejoining BVG i think it would be a likely move, but im not sure, the Devs will likely want to put all this behind them:-)

They probably won't really need moderators for a while, considering the community is somewhat small.

We will decide whom the moderators will be within due time, sorry but that is something that will not be decided by the community.

Why do you think you deserve to become moderator: Because I would be the best moderator ever! (No real reason as to why I deserve it)

2. No bypassing the profanity filter

Depends on the rule. Small break deserves a warning. Medium deserves a locked thread. Large includes both a large thread and a warning. Something critical (for say somebody uploading a link for something that doesn't exist that really leads to a virus) get permission from site admin for ban/ ip ban.

Answer: I'm feeling fine...

Why do you think you deserve to become moderator: I haven't been as active as many of the others who I personally think deserve this position, but I believe I can contribute by handling repeated threads and necroposts and users who break important rules that should be followed. Even if these rules aren't posted, I would note that it's common knowledge to not do something like that (like posting pornographic pictures, flamebaiting, spamming).
   
   Despite my low post count here on the forums, please take into consideration that I was here since January when BVG was up and active, although I didn't make my appearance until early February (I think).
   
   I did make a thread 'A Discussion About PvP Combat, Game Mechanics, Guilds, Groups & More!' which has been stickied... TWICE.
   
   And about my low post count again: I have made countless posts which have shown that my replies have quality. I believe it's the quality of the impact the user has left rather than the quantity, although in this case I think you should have a regular presence and a good amount of posts—both of which I believe I have.
   
   
7. Give 3 important rules: Impersonating moderators, developers or high-ranking members of the community is not allowed. Creating multiple threads is not allowed, and if you're attempting to create a thread that's a trending topic, it's recommended you search through recent threads before publishing the hot-topic thread. Flaming other users and baiting others in order to instigate a flame-war is not allowed.

Answer: I would notify the user via posting on his thread or via Private Message to let the user know which rule(s) he's breaking, and what he should and should not be doing so he doesn't receive further warnings. I'd continue by letting him know that multiple infractions on his account would lead to a suspension or all the way to a perma-ban, depending on how far he's gone with breaking the rules.
   
   I would also take any other action that's necessary after notifying the user.

Nice to see, you like it, Thel. But BloodBrothers said, dev team will choose moderators, not community. I like my idea more.

I would love to help you find the "cardiac solvent of chromium", but I don't know what you're talking about. A way to make chromium dissolve hearts? If that's what you want...

+1 because I not only respect him for his kindness, politeness, and the amount of logic he puts out to his posts, but also because he made countries of Reach, and I would love to play that again some day.
